Framingham – The Worcester State College football team improved its record to 4-2 on the year with a decisive 49-0 win over Framingham State College.  The Rams drop to 0-5 on the year.

Worcester State scored touchdowns on three of their first four drives in the opening quarter to take a commanding 21-0 lead after one.  Their first touchdown was scored on a fumble recovery in the Framingham end zone, which was followed by two touchdowns from Worcester State’s Greg Wood, who had three touchdowns for the day.  His first touchdown was a 48-yard punt return that he followed up with a 24-yard touchdown run on the very next possession. 

Eric Guilmette and Josh Donovan, who each had six tackles, and Bill Meuse again led Framingham State’s defense with 5 tackles.

Framingham State struggled to get their offense going all day and only netted 46 yards of offense while the Worcester State offense generated 409 total yards – 239 of them on the ground.

Framingham State heads on the road to Western New England College next Saturday in search of their first win.
