Chris Heaney took over as the Rams head ice hockey coach in 2005 after serving as an assistant coach the previous season when the Rams advanced to the quarterfinals of the ECAC Northeast Tournament. Heaney coached the Rams defense that ranked 5th in the conference, allowing only 54 goals against all season, and the Rams penalty kill that also ranked 5th in the conference. He also served as the Rams ice hockey recruiting coordinator for the 2004-05 season. Prior to joining the FSC coaching staff, he was the head coach of the Tri-Valley Indians and an assistant coach at Natick High School. Heaney played his college hockey at Norwich University. |
