Women's Lacrosse

Laura Peterson, who is in her second year with the Rams, began her tenure last year as the first coach of the Framingham State College women’s lacrosse team in 2007 during its inaugural club season.  Peterson comes to Framingham State after serving as an assistant lacrosse coach at her alma mater, Assumption College, from 2002-2005.    Peterson graduated from Assumption College in 2002 with a degree in Social and Rehabilitative Services and with minors in sociology and secondary education.  She then went on to earn a Masters of Arts in special education from Assumption in 2006.  During her time on the bench at Assumption, Peterson was responsible for organizing and running pre-season practices as well as assisting the head coach with recruiting.  Peterson is currently employed as a special education teacher in the Nashoba Regional School District and resides in Shrewsbury.
