 I hope your Fall semester is going well. I want to introduce all of you to Career Services and Employer Relations and invite you to make use of our services throughout your academic career. We are a comprehensive, full-service career center, which means we can help you every step of the way. Our services are available to all majors, including undeclared majors, and to all class years.
Counselors are available for individual appointments to discuss any area of your career planning, including: deciding on a career path, choosing a major, looking for an internship, writing a resume and cover letter, perfecting interviewing skills, learning job search skills, and deciding upon and applying to graduate school.
To those of you who will be graduating this coming year, the future looks bright. There are many employers coming to campus for the Employer Showcase Series which typically takes place on Wednesdays from 12:00-3:00 pm in the College Center lobby. Watch for the complete schedule at:

And for those of you who are not graduating yet, please come in and get familiar with our services. Our web site is constantly updated with new part time and full time job listings and internship opportunities. Some local employers are also starting to advertise for seasonal (holiday) work. Since September 1st we have added 196 new employers and 348 new jobs to our postings! Go to Career Services and Employer Relations to check out the listings.
