The top ten reasons to visit the Career Services & Employer Relations office are...

10. We have handouts filled with valuable information on topics such as job searching, interviewing, resume writing, and preparing for graduate school.

9. A career resource library and sitting area await you. Here you can explore hundreds of career options from 9:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00-4:30 on Fridays.

8. You may pop in to take the computerized "Pin Point" career guidance test which helps you discover your interests, personality traits, and career possibilities. At the end you get to print out a list of your potential careers!

7. Counselors are readily available for quick walk-in appointments from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. every week-day to answer questions about developing a resume and cover-letter.

6. You can trust that our counselors will help you discover more about who you are and what direction you should take in life.

5. A staff member is always available to set you up on our computer to search employment opportunities using College Central Network. You may also print your career related documents free of charge!

4. Talk to our staff about connecting with alumni using our new program, CareerLink, a service allowing you to search a database of FSC alumni who are available to talk to you about career goals in your field of interest.

3. To schedule a 30-60 minute appointment with a career counselor who is able to guide you through steps that should be taken from your first year to graduation day and beyond.

2. To say hello to the friendly staff while nonchalantly grabbing some free hard candy.
