Program

The Graduate Certificates provide specialized training for designers, retail managers, merchandisers, associates, educators, and those with an interest in the fashion industry who already have an undergraduate degree. 

 

They are intended for individuals who are:

 

· employed in the field and need to enhance their skills in specific areas relevant to their present job or future responsibilities.

 

· interested in studying fashion merchandising or design but cannot commit to a long term program of study or a master’s degree program.

Acceptance Requirements:

Earned Undergraduate Degree.

Completed application and application fee submitted to Division of Graduate and Continuing Education www.framingham.edu/dgce

FASH141  Fashion Designer to Consumer

FASH153  Consumer Textiles

 

Choose a minimum of four courses from the following:

 FASH854  Advanced Textiles

 FASH851  Fashion Merchandising: Theory and Distribution

 FASH843  Research Methods for the Fashion Industry

 FASH844  World Market:  Textiles to Retailing

 FASH855  Case Studies in Fashion

 FASH864  Fashion Merchandising: Planning, Policies, and

Graduate Certificate in Fashion Design
