Visiting Lecturer at the Assistant
Professor level to teach an
undergraduate survey course in
public relations. Candidates should
have professional experience in
public relations and a record of, or
potential for, outstanding
undergraduate teaching. An
accredited Master's Degree is
required, Ph.D. is a plus. Women
and minority candidates are strongly
encouraged to apply.

Full-Time Temporary, Communication
Arts Department
The Communication
Arts Department of Framingham State
College invites applications for a
full-time temporary position
specializing in Film and Video
production to begin fall 2008. An
MFA in film and/or video production,
or a related field, and several
years of professional experience is
required. This individual will also
have extensive knowledge of and
experience with 16mm film production
and processing. The successful
candidate will be able to teach
Introduction to Film Production,
Advanced Film Production and at
least two of the following: Writing
for Visual Media, Studio Production
I & II; Field Production I & II,
Broadcast Studies, Acting &
Directing for the Stage, or
Introduction to Visual
Communication. The new hire will be
experienced in teaching and using
software on the Macintosh platform
including After Effects, Final Cut
Pro, Avid Xpress Pro, Avid Media
Composer, ProTools II. Academic
advising, departmental and college
committee assignments, research and
related service are expected. A
minimum of three years college level
teaching is required, plus a strong
record of related professional
experience, and a commitment to
liberal arts education and engaged
student learning.
