Graduate Programs

If you believe food habits strongly influence your health, our graduate programs may be just what you're looking for to play a vital role in the future of food and nutrition. There are two graduate offerings:

Master of Science Degree Programs

Our Master of Science degree programs integrate advanced study of nutrition science, biochemistry and research with applied nutrition and dietetics. These programs prepare you for a career in medical nutrition therapy, healthcare or foodservice management, or in enhancing public and private agencies with nutrition education and services.

You may concentrate in either the Coordinated Program in Dietetics
or Human Nutrition: Education and Media Technologies.

Master of Science students are required to pass a comprehensive exam before graduating. Consult the frequently asked questions for more information on the graduate program.

Coordinated Program in Dietetics

  • those who wish to fulfill both the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) requirements and the supervised practice experience to become a registered dietitian
