Undergraduate Certificate in Enterprise Systems

The Certificate in Enterprise Systems provides needed training in Enterprise computing to supply the shortage of mainframe trained employees. The certificate consists of five courses identified at a round table discussion with Boston area IBM customers in need of mainframe knowledgeable employees.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to write programs in COBOL and Assembler Language.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of IBM Enterprise systems.
  • Address the purpose of security and explain why we use it.
  • Identify and apply the importance of programming techniques.
  • Identify and apply data management techniques and DB2's solution to various problems.

 

Certificate Admission Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Equivalency) or HiSET (High School Equivalency Test)
