Crocker Hall, built in 1886, is named for Lucretia Crocker (Class of 1850), an outstanding teacher and brilliant science scholar and the first woman to serve on the Boston School Board. Originally built as a dormitory, it is currently used for faculty and administrative offices and houses the Economics and Business Administration, Psychology and Philosophy, and Sociology departments.
