The D. Justin McCarthy Center is the center for social activity at the University. It was completed in 1976 and is named in honor of Dr. McCarthy, President of the University from 1961 to 1985. The Center, a spacious 5-level building, houses all segments of student activities, including dining facilities, the University radio station, a snack bar, a game room, an art gallery, and other extensive recreational areas and services.
Additionally, it contains the Campus Police Office, Career Services, Campus Ministry, Dining Services, Student Government Association, and Student Involvement and Campus Events. A number of conference facilities are provided.
