We invite you to take a closer look at Framingham State University by signing up for a walking tour of the campus! Tours are conducted by our Student Admissions Representatives. You will see what our campus offers including visits to classrooms, residence halls, and the Athletic Center.

Please note that during peak times our visit options fill quickly.  To ensure a quality experience for all visitors, we strongly encourage you to schedule your visit in advance by calling our tour line at 508-626-4934.

Campus Tours:

Campus tours last approximately 60-minutes and are conducted by our Student Admissions Representatives. Tours depart from the Undergraduate Admissions Welcome Center and are offered MOST weekdays at the following times:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday - 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

Please note: Due to summer construction projects, we are unable to show the Whittemore Library and Larned Hall during campus tours through the end of August. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Although the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be open, we are unable to offer campus tours on the following dates:

May: 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29
June: 2, 4, 30
July: 3, 16, 31
August: 24, 31
September: 1 through 11

Information Sessions:

Information Sessions provide an overview of academic programs, campus life, and admissions criteria. Sessions include a 40-minute presentation by one of our Admissions Counselors followed by a 60-minute campus tour led by one of our Student Admissions Representatives. We encourage high school seniors to attend a session in the fall and juniors to attend a session in the spring or summer.  Sessions are offered most Wednesdays during the summer beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Group Tours:

The Explore FSU program offers the opportunity for a campus tour and/or information session.  If you would like to bring a group to campus, please click here and complete our online request form.  (A request notice of at least 2 weeks is greatly appreciated.)

Please Note:

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be closed on the following days; tours/information sessions will not be offered:

  • September 1 (Labor Day)
  • October 13 (Columbus Day)
  • October 15 (PSAT Day, office is open but tours are reserved for Explore FSU only)
  • November 11 (Veterans Day, office is closed for regular business but campus visits will be offered.)
  • November 27-28 (Thanksgiving Recess)
  • December 16-24 (Office is open but tours are not offered)
  • December 25-31 (Winter Break)
  • January 1 (New Year's Day)
  • January 19 (Martin Luther King Day)
  • February 16 (Presidents' Day)
  • April 20 (Patriots' Day)
  • May 25 (Memorial Day)
  • July 4 (Independence Day)

In the case of inclement weather, please call the Weather Emergency number at 508-626-4898. If classes are canceled, all Information Sessions and tours will be canceled as well.
