History Highlight

History Highlight

- Compiled by Nikki Wetherell '07

February's Highlight: Bermuda Bound

BON VOYAGE.  A group of students poses for a photo before boarding a flight to Bermuda in the 1960s. Any recollections of this island getaway to share with alumni? (Photo Courtesy of Framingham State College Archives)

Framingham State College has a rich history, steeped in tradition. Do you have a piece of history to share? Let us know what you think of this photo, or better yet, send us your own favorite Framingham State College photo. E-mail pictures and/or responses to development@frc.mass.edu, or mail to: Alumni Relations, Att: Laura Delaney, Framingham State College, 100 State St., Framingham, MA 01701. Please be sure to identify the people or action taking place in your photo submission. Photos will be returned upon request. Responses may be published in future editions of Hilltop Happenings.

Last Issue's Highlight: Let Your Hair Down...

IN CONCERT. These days, FSC students enjoy concerts featuring bands such as The All-American Rejects, but back in the '70s, performers like Richie Havens came to campus. Here, students enjoy a campus-sponsored concert during the 1970s.  Can you help fill in some of the groovy details? Any familiar faces? (Photo Courtesy of Framingham State College Archives)

November's Highlight: They Got Game...

John Lyon's '01, former Rams baseball player A.K.A. "Big Bear", writes: "The picture is a little blurry and small, but I believe that is Steve Taylor at second base, making the year 1998 or 1999."
