The Department of Art and Music offers coursework leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in Art Education, Art History, Studio Art, Ceramics, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture and Visual Communications in either Graphic Design or Illustration, and minor concentrations in Art History, Museum Studies, Music, and Studio Art. Additionally, the department offers post-baccalaureate and graduate degrees in Art Education.

In addition to our academic programs, the department manages a gallery space, located in the D. Justin McCarthy College Center, that features rotating exhibitions of engaging contemporary art from around the region and nation.

Announcements

Spring Vacation
Access to the studios during Spring Vacation is allowed only with prior permission of the faculty. Classes will be in recess after class on Friday, March 12th and will resume on Monday, March 22nd.

Portfolio Review
Portfolio Review for current and incoming students who want to apply for the Studio Art major will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010.
