Mr. Colin Owyang is Executive Vice President of Regulation and General Counsel of National Grid USA. Prior to joining National Grid, Mr. Owyang was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Boston, a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C., a Trial Attorney in the Environmental Crimes Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, an associate at the law firm Foley Hoag in Boston, and a judicial clerk for three federal judges in Boston, MA and Detroit, MI.
Mr. Owyang serves on the Council of the Boston Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the Boston Lawyers’ Group. He previously served on the Massachusetts Judicial Nominating Commission and on the U.S. Magistrate Judge Interviewing Committee. Mr. Owyang is also on the legal committees of the Edison Electric Institute and the American Gas Association. Mr. Owyang was appointed to the Framingham State Board of Trustees in 2014.
Mr. Owyang is a graduate of Yale College, Yale University and the University of Michigan Law School.
