Marketing Major(UMKG)

A marketing major is a practical, career-oriented major that requires analytical skills, logic and creativity. Students will develop the skill of determining consumer needs, to translate those needs into products and services and to sell them locally or globally. Students will also learn about the distribution of goods and services, consumer behavior, pricing policies, channels of retail and wholesale distribution, advertising, sales, research, and management. This major prepares students for a career in marketing.
