In the event a fire is discovered in any part of the University, the Framingham Fire Department shall be called immediately and the alarm signal sounding horns should prompt an immediate evacuation.
If you discover a fire, pull the nearest fire alarm, and notify Campus Police.
An emergency warning "CODE RED" may be issued.
All students, teachers, and other employees shall be required to leave the building in an orderly and rapid manner and assemble in an outside designated area. A faculty member shall ascertain that no students remain in the building.
In outside assembly areas, faculty members shall take roll call, reporting missing students, and provide assistance to injured students.
If the fire is serious, students shall be taken to an alternate location for safety.
