Richard Davino, Director
Rich has 16 years of experience in higher education, nine directly in career services, and has been at Framingham State University since March 2007. He is focused on developing internship and full-time job leads with employers as well as counseling and advising students and alumni in a wide range of topics including networking strategies, resume and cover letter development and interviewing techniques. Rich has a Master of Science in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications, both from the State University of New York in Plattsburgh. For more information, find him on LinkedIn.
Dawn Ross, Internship Coordinator
Dawn works to develop internship opportunities with local businesses and organizations and will support students, faculty, and administration in arranging internship experiences. She has over 10 years experience in higher education and has been at Framingham State University since November 2002. Prior to joining the University, she proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Dawn graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from FSU and is currently working towards a Master of Arts in Human Resources at FSU.
Cathy Tomaso, Career Counselor
Cathy has 10 years of experience in education, with 6 years in career services, and has worked at Framingham State University since September 2008. She also has 10 years of business experience in financial services. Her focus is working with students and alumni on job search strategies including networking, resume and cover letter development and interview techniques. Cathy has a Master of Education in Counseling from Bridgewater State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Assumption College.
Ellen Price, Career Counselor
Ellen Price has 10 years experience in Career Services and has been at Framingham State University since 2008. Her varied background includes several years in both government and human resources, before she discovered her passion for helping students answer the question “What do I want to do with my life?” Ellen also enjoys helping students focus their job search using the tools of research, networking, resumes, and interviewing skills to land their dream job. Ellen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics from Washington and Lee University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University.
Sarah Falber, Special Projects Coordinator, Career Counselor
Sarah Falber has been with Framingham State University since 2010. Having worked as an attorney for several years, she successfully underwent her own career self evaluation process and made the professional change to Career Counseling. She spends much of her time creating new relationships with employers and preparing for the numerous career events taking place throughout the academic school year. Her favorite part of her job is helping students with their resumes, cover letters, interview skills, networking opportunities and advising them with their general job search strategies. Sarah received her Law Degree from Boston College and her Bachelor's Degree from Amherst College.
