Mission Statement
The mission of CELTSS is to:
- Promote and assist faculty members' development of their
teaching, scholarship, and creativity. - Support faculty members at all phases of their careers by
organizing programs and activities designed to encourage
innovative and effective pedagogy. - Provide mentoring to new faculty.
- Offer a collegial environment for discussion of all their
professional work. - Support diversity, open inquiry, and interdisciplinary
collaboration.
CELTSS provides faculty funding for such things as travel,
research, innovation in teaching, and other small grants.
