CELTSS offers many resources to faculty. These include a lending library of literature concerning the scholarship of teaching and learning as well as a collection of books written by Framingham State University faculty members. Resources for new faculty include the Mentoring Program.
There is also an active event schedule of lectures concerning faculty projects including The Distinguished Faculty presentation in the fall and the Lyceum Lecture in the spring as well as Scholars on the Hill presentations. Additionally, there are two forums to highlight faculty work and academic concerns, January Day, and A Day in May. There are also brown bag lunches and roundtables about varying academic topics that range from teaching pedagogy to scholarly publishing.
The CELTSS room is located in Hemenway Hall, Room 108, and can be booked for meetings by contacting Meghan Maxfield at firstname.lastname@example.org. The room is equipped with a flat screen T.V. that can be used to play DVD's or to hook up a lap top for a presentation. The room comfortably seats 20-25 people.
