Departmental Instrumentation

The Department's major chemical instrument holdings are
available for routine student use starting early in their program of study; in many cases during the first year.

In addition to the instruments pictured above, the department has several
Gow-Mac Gas Chromatographs, a free-standing HPLC, two Hewlett Packard diode array UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, a Carey double beam UV- Vis Spectrophotometer, a Perkin Emer Fluorimeter, Spectronic 20s, pH meters,
and equipment for performing electrochemical and electrophoretic analyses.
