Dr. Dwayne Bell Dr. Bell teaches organic chemistry. He has been a senior scientist and project manager in the pharmaceutical industry. He has experience with the day to day operations of a chemical pilot plant experience and has personally working with some of the ‘small-scale’ 200 gallons glass line reactors. His current interest is in the area of using Manganese (III) porphyrins to break down cellulosic lignin. |

Dr. Matthew Davenport Dr. Davenport teaches Introduction to Food Science, Food Processing and Engineering, and Food Chemistry. His research interests focuses on the chemistry of food proteins specifically the structure / function relationship of proteins during gelation, seafood byproduct utilization, residual animal protein. |
