Commencement

President FlanaganDear Graduating Senior,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from Framingham State College. Many graduates of the Class of 2010 began their journey at Framingham State College in Fall 2006, when Nancy and I joined the FSC community. Like ours, I hope your last four years have been rewarding.

Commencement ceremonies are an old and honored tradition in academia. Commencement is the most important event in the academic calendar of a college. It is a day set aside to celebrate the achievement of important goals, to recognize outstanding accomplishment, and to welcome graduating seniors into the alumni association of the College.

The faculty, staff and administration of Framingham State share your excitement at Commencement and welcome this opportunity to honor your success. We are proud of all of our College alumni, and we look forward to hearing of your adventures and successes as your lives and careers unfold.

Please remember to take time to thank the loved ones, friends and supporters who helped you to arrive at this important day. They share your excitement and they are justifiably proud of you.

Enjoy your Commencement Day; you’ve earned it!

Timothy J. Flanagan, PhD

President
