During the May 20, 2012 Commencement all appropriate parking lots will be open.
Parking Tips
For the Graduate ceremony we recommend that you park in the new parking garage located behind the library and Larnard Hall. Please arrive 30-45 minutes before the ceremony in order to secure a space.
For the Undergraduate ceremony, please use Maple and Maynard parking lots. We will provide shuttle bus service to and from the green that day. It is recommended that you arrive an hour before the ceremony begins.
If it is a nice day it is recommended that you do walk to the green. There is a walkway the goes over Route 9 to make this walk easier for you. This could be the quickest way to the green due to the traffic on Route 9.
Shuttle Bus Service
Maple Parking Lot
There will be shuttle buses that will either bring you from Maple Lot to the town green The shuttle will you from Maple Parking Lot to the green, you will be dropped off at the back of the green. Due to the amount of traffic this could take up to 30 minutes to get to the green, especially from 1:15pm until 2:15pm.
Maynard Parking Lot
There will be shuttle service that will take you from Maynard Parking Lot to and from the green on Sunday.
Maynard Building Parking Lot - Updated May 7, 2012
This is our Handicap parking lot. There will be a handicap shuttle bus that will pick you up behind the Maynard Building and bring you to and from the green. In order to park in this lot you will need a handicap placard displayed in your car.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT THE MAYNARD PARKING LOT LOCATED ON CAMPUS. THIS LOT IS LOCATED ACROSS ROUTE 9 BEHIND THE TWON GREEN.
