Students study visual communication theory and its application, become experienced in the fundamentals of concept design and implementation, and develop group based written and verbal skills. All of these are brought to bear in an internship where tasks and performances closely match day-to-day expectations of a corporate employer. Students are prepared for a career in such fields as public affairs, corporate illustration and design, and in-house print and electronic media communications, as well as advertising and public relations.
