Mon - Fri 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Counseling Center at FSU provides a range of mental health services to help students improve emotional, interpersonal, and academic functioning.
The Center offers individual, couples, and group counseling, as well as psychopharmacology assessment and management, to any matriculated undergraduate or graduate student, free of charge.
We also offer consultation to faculty, staff, and parents who may have concerns about a student, and we sponsor a variety of outreach events about mental health issues for members of the University community.
We welcome you and hope that your experience with us is productive and useful. Please let us know if you have any feedback about any of our services or if we can improve your experience in any way.
For more information please visit our Student Services page.
PLEASE NOTE:
For incoming freshmen and transfer students,
the Counseling Center cannot treat you until you begin school. You may
call to schedule an appointment or stop by when you arrive on campus. If
you have questions before that time, please call us.
If you are currently receiving mental health care and are taking
medication, please make sure you have adequate services/medication with
you. When school begins, we will be happy to meet with you to discuss
your mental health needs. For more information please visit our Medication Consultation page under Students Services.
