Counseling Center
508-626-4640
Mon - Fri 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Due to mental health laws and confidentiality restrictions, the Counseling Center cannot share any information about a student without a written release giving specific permission to do so. The Center's staff can answer faculty and staff members' general questions about making referrals, offer you information about psychological concerns and problems in general, and take information from you about a student.
If a faculty or staff member has referred a student to the Center, it often is a good idea to follow up with the student after the referral was made to insure the student is receiving help. Students can sign a Release of Information form which allows the counselor to verify for a concerned faculty or staff member that the student is receiving help at the Center.
