The Core Program (15 hours per week)
Provides a solid foundation for developing basic language skills. It offers the opportunity to practice and master English language skills for job or academic advancement. Apply Now

Skill Building Courses
Provides a choice of less intense classes during the day for students with limited time. Designed to target a variety of language skills and different English abilities. Full Intensive students must choose one session A and one session B course. F-1 students must choose at least one.

Session A Courses (6 hours per week)
When: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1:00pm-3:00pm
Cost: $400

TOEFL Preparation
Teaches skills and strategies for approaching each section of the TOEFL exam. To meet requirements for both the iBT and institutional exams, listening, grammar, reading and essay writing exercises are included. The Institutional TOEFL is administered at the end of the term. Apply Now

Writing Workshop
Provides writing practice with focus on grammar usage and clarity of expression. The goal is to produce well-organized, clearly developed paragraphs while addressing individual needs. Apply Now

Foundations of Grammar
A beginning course which introduces basic grammar, vocabulary and life skills. Apply Now

Introduction to American History and Culture
Designed to familiarize students with the cultural aspects of American English derived from historical and literary references as well as common idioms. Topics include holiday traditions, sports, and regional customs. Apply Now

Pronunciation and Oral Communication
Designed to increase a student's confidence and clarity of speech. Also focuses on building vocabulary and improving conversational skills. Apply Now

Reading and Discussion in American Culture
