Dr. C. Louis Cedrone
On April 30, 2004, Framingham State College renamed the International Education Programs Office to the C. Louis Cedrone International Education Center in memory of the Executive Director for International Education Programs Inc. (C. Louis Cedrone). Dr. Cedrone was the Executive Director from 1993-2003.
Shortly after retiring as Superintendent of Westwood Public School System, Dr. Cedrone began a second career with International Education Programs Inc., an independent, non-profit organization which in conjunction with Framingham State College provides access to Master’s Degrees in Education to educators living and working abroad.
Since Dr.Cedrone became Executive Director in 1993, the program has grown from three sites in Mexico and Brazil to over 30 sites worldwide. He personally traveled to each new site as the program opened. His love of teaching and a special talent for networking and working with people caused the program to grow into one of the largest in the field of International Education, an accomplishment which he felt lead to global education and understanding, of which he was very proud.
