About The Program

The twelve-credit Graduate Certificate Program in Nursing Education at Framingham State College admits BSN and MSN (and related Master's) students. The Fall courses are hybrid courses which have both an online and classroom component.

  • NURE941 Nurse Educator: Curriculum Design and Evaluation*

  • NURE951 Nurse Educator: Course Development and Implementation*

The practicum course is offered every Spring with a flexible schedule:

  • NURE981 Nurse Educator: Practicum*

Upon completion graduates will have the knowledge, skills, and confidence of a beginning nurse educator.

BSN graduates are eligible to have the credits applied towards the MSN program. If you need a BSN to get started towards teaching, Framingham State College also has an RN to BSN Program.

Funding for the Certificate Program was obtained through grants from the Board of Higher Education and the Promise of Nursing for Massachusetts Nursing School Grant Program administered by the Foundation of the National Student Nurses' Association.
