About the Prehistoric Age (3) - Examines key
parts of our prehistoric legacy through artifacts, latest research,
readings and documentary film. Participants
study the dawn of human time to the development of agriculture (Neolithic
Revolution) and coursework is keyed into Massachusetts History and Social
Sciences Frameworks. This
course is designed to engage students in the content through their own
research and is a model for classroom application.

the rise and fall of the Incas, Mayas, and Aztecs as well as current Latin
American issues and the impact of Latin America on the United States and
the world. The course
provides a structure for interdisciplinary curriculum planning across
history/social studies and foreign languages. |

overview of Indian culture, society and art. Topics include religion, philosophy, music, art and dance,
and cuisine.

development in Asian history. Special
emphasis is placed on China and Japan and their development from

course is an overview of Brazilian culture, society, and art.
