The Educational Technology Office's mission is to promote and support the integration of technology into the teaching and learning environment. Through the Marion Scherner Leonhard Multimedia Technology Lab, the Educational Technology Office provides professional development opportunities in the areas of computer technology and training for faculty and staff. Workshops and specialized training sessions are held in the Leonhard Lab, located in Hemenway Hall G07. Periodic workshops are available on a variety of topics including the Microsoft Office Suite, the Blackboard learning environment, multimedia, and Web 2.0 tools. The Educational Technology Office’s staff provides the framework for creating and implementing technology into the classroom. Support and assistance are readily available.
When the Leonhard Lab is not being used for workshops, it is available for faculty and staff to work on technology projects or to get one-on-one support or training.
