The selection committee of the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honors Society has chosen senior English major, Kaitlin McCabe, to present a paper at the 2013 Sigma Tau Delta Convention in Portland, OR, March 20-23, 2013. Nearly 800 paper and panel proposals were submitted. Kate adapted her presentation, "Dueling Ideologies in Lermontov's A Hero of Our Time," from a paper she wrote in Dr. Bernard Horn’s Russian Literature course. As current president of the Framingham State University chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, Kate will also serve as the Framingham State chapter's voting delegate during the conference.
