Travels to Asia twice a  year to work with overseas agents & factories, also travel as needed to Turkey to help a new agent get “up and running” with our processes/procedures, sent to Korea to negotiate prices for important new Fall program

Christine Pollard '99

Order Manager for Balenciaga and Bottega Veneta:

-Works directly with Sales in entering/monitoring and managing all orders to Wholesale customers (Barneys, Saks, and hundreds of small boutiques across the country)

-Constant contact with Gucci Factories overseas ( Milan , Cadempino) to ensure timely shipments

-Corresponds with (buyers/AE’s/directors) accounts to answer any inquiries regarding shipment, style information and internal system updates.

-Attends Market Meetings in NY to view new seasonal lines and meet account contacts.

-Daily interaction with all facets of the company-warehouse/shipping, imports, AR/AP, MIS, Inventory Control.

 ANT USA, Inc.

Ron Fleischer, ANT USA, Inc. talks with the students.  Mr. Fleischer is formerly a buyer and planner for Macy’s, Bed and Bath, and TJX Corporation. He is currently the Director of Retail Systems and Services at ANT USA, Inc. Retail Planning, assortment and analysis is his specialty. He demonstrated how to use Academic Lite version of Buyer’s Toolbox.

Framingham Cooperative Bank

Students heard from Vice President Commercial Loan Officer, Peter Anderson. Mr. Anderson discussed what bank officers expect in business
loan applications. He discussed business plans and the financial aspects of opening a retail store.
