Course Description  
An introduction to the programs, policies and institutions that shape the delivery of nutrition services at the local, state, and national levels. Special attention is given to the assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of programs targeted to high-risk populations. The employment of the political process to promote food and nutrition programs is included.
