Course Description Field experience in community health settings coordinated with campus seminars.  Students utilize their knowledge of normal and modified nutrition, skills in communications, recognition of socio-economic influences, and familiarity with community health agencies, resources and the legislative process.  Education and motivation of individuals and groups and contributions to total health care in a community is explored.

Become a Nutrition Professional at Framingham State College. 
This course is one of three placements in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics.  Other clinical placements include foodservice and clinical. Students completing this program are eligible  to take the national registration exam to become registered dietitians (RD) and licensed dietitians/nutritionists (LDN) in the state of Massachusetts.
