The Office of Orientation and First Year Programs would like to congratulate new students on their decision to attend Framingham State College. The Orientation Program provides an introduction to student life at the College, and helps students achieve a smooth academic transition by providing careful advisement on course and program selection prior to registration. The Orientation Program is specifically designed to meet the needs of new students. Orientation is MANDATORY for all Day Division students entering Framingham State College.
STUDENTS WHO DO NOT ATTEND ORIENTATION WILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES DURING THE "ADD/DROP PERIOD" THAT BEGINS ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES IN THE FALL.

Orientation is a one-day program. Students are assigned an orientation day based on their major or undeclared status.

Orientation Dates for Students Entering In Fall 2010
First Year Students: June 21, 22, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 2010
Transfer Students: May 26 and 27, 2010.
Dates of attendance will be determined by the chosen major.
Make-up Orientation sessions will be as follows:
First-Year Students: August, 25, 2010.
Transfer Students: August, 26, 2010.
Remember, First-Year Orientation at FSC is a one day program. Transfer Orientation is a half-day program.
