How to register for a placement test:

• You should have received a letter containing information about the specific placement test(s) you need to take.
• Please use the drop down box below to select a date and time that offers your required tests. Be sure to register for a session that includes ALL of the tests you will be taking. You can register for a session that includes both tests you need to take and tests you don't need to take. For example, if you need to test in Math and Reading only, you can register for a session that is offering all of the tests. However, if you need to take Math, Reading Comprehension and Language, please do not register for a session that only offers Math and Reading Comprehension.
• Once you have registered for a session, you will receive an email confirming your date and time as well as the location of testing with a parking pass.

Writing Placement Test

Writing placement tests are offered at separate times from those listed below. Also, testing will be done off-site, most likely from your own home. Students will have a window of opportunity to complete the test and can be taken at any point during the specific time frame.  Specific information will be sent to you in a separate email from Dr. Patricia Lynne, Associate Professor in the English Department, as the window to test gets closer. This correspondence will detail how and when to register for the test. The test itself will be available beginning May 17th, and all essays must be submitted by May 24th at 11:00pm. If students miss these deadlines, their next opportunity to take the test will be in early August. How to change your placement test date

If you need to change the date you scheduled to take the test math, reading or language tests at Framingham State, please send an email to placement@framingham.edu with a date that is still available that you would like to attend. A confirmation email will be sent with the new assignment.
