Dr. Otto teaches World Regional Geography, Introduction to Human Geography, Geography of Europe, Methods of Planning, Community Development, Geography of Russia and Central Asia. Her research focuses on transitions to capitalism and democracy in Central and Eastern Europe; the spatial dimensions of economic sector growth and change; place marketing and promotion; metropolitan governance; and urban sustainability.

Dr. Najjar teaches courses in geography and urban planning.His research focus include Transportation Planning;Urban design and Land Use Planning;Housing and Squatered Urban Settlements:Site Analysis of Tourism and Recreational Destinations:and the Geopolitical Structure of the Middle East.
 
Dr Najjar Teaching experience included 3 years at Um-Al-Qura University in Makkah,Saudi Arabia 1998-2001,was a Fulbright Scholar at Bahrain University in 2006:and taught at Qatar University 2007-2010.
