Spring Semester

Placement testing: Monday, January 30, 8:30am-11:30am in the Alumni Room (Room 309), 3rd Floor of the McCarthy Center
The Intensive (Day) ESL Program offers instruction in reading, grammar, vocabulary building, academic writing, pronunciation, TOEFL preparation, and content areas based on student interest.
Classes are small, permitting individualized instruction and opportunities to use both spoken and written language in real and meaningful situations.
New students must submit an application. You may download an application form, or request one by calling the Graduate and Continuing Education office: 508-626-4550. Students seeking an F-1 student visa should download the application form for F-1 students.
Students with an F-1 Visa must enroll in at least 18 hours of class per week.
New students seeking an F-1 student visa must submit the certificate of finances form and supporting documents in addition to their application a minimum of four (4) months prior to the beginning of the semester. The fifteen-week (15) session is offered beginning Tuesday, January 31, 2012.

- The 1/2 Core Reading and Writing Program (7.5 hours per week)
- The 1/2 Core Listening and Speaking Program (7.5 hours per week)
- The Core Program (15 hours per week)
- Core + A Program (21 hours per week)
- Core + B Program (19 hours per week)
- Core A & B Program (25 hours per week)
- Four Different Skill Building Courses (4-10 hours per week)
