We are pleased to announce two series of Saturday classes, each running for 5 weeks. These classes are aimed at students who have work and other commitments in the week but would like to improve their English language skills on the weekend.
Spring Saturday Session Two

Classes Offered:
Level 1 Beginning Conversation and Writing (Beginner)
This course is for beginning English Language Learners to begin the adventure of learning better communication skills to help them communicate. Practical lessons will help you improve speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and listening of English.
Improving Writing Skills (Intermediate to Advanced)
Intermediate and Advanced students need to focus on improving writing skills to advance their opportunities in their career and in their communities. The writing skills taught will prepare you for further education and increase your overall understanding of English and how to use grammar.
Conversation and Pronunciation (Intermediate to Advanced)
Intermediate and Advanced students will learn and practice oral communication skills. This class will focus on increasing vocabulary, using correct grammar when speaking, and learning special techniques to improve pronunciation.
Placement Test
Placement tests are given before the start of classes to determine your level of English. You must be registered before you can be tested. All new students must take the test.

Registration and Payment
To register by mail or fax, download the ESL Registration Form. You may also register in person at the Division of Graduate and Continuing Education office.
Payment must be made at the time of registration. Payment may be made by personal check, bank check, money order, Visa*, MasterCard*, Discover Card*, or American Express*. Cash is only accepted between 9:00am and 4:00pm at the Office of Graduate and Continuing Education (D. Justin McCarthy Center, room 515). Payment is due with registration. Register early to ensure your place in a class.
