This fall, Norfolk County Teachers Association (NCTA) and Framingham State University (FSU) plan to partner to offer a convenient and affordable "hybrid" master's program, with online and on site classes.
- This approved program leads to an initial license as either a School Principal/Assistant School Principal (PreK-6, 5-8 or 9-12) or as a Supervisor/Director.
- You must have your initial license (or higher) in another role (such as elementary education or English) and three full years of employment in that role.

- To ensure academic quality, enrollment will be limited to 25 students.
- You must apply for admission to this program. Your complete application must be received by FSU no later than Friday, January 7, 2011. Classes will begin in late January, 2011.
The Program
The Educational Leadership program consists of 12 courses/48 credits, and includes two practicum experiences. Be sure to review the Degree Requirements.
How to Apply
- Download the NCTA Application for Admission.
- Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from professors, supervisors, and/or colleagues on professional letterhead. Letters must be accompanied by the Framingham State University Letter of Recommendation form.
- Framingham State University will waive your $50 application fee.
- Review the Admission Requirements. Among other requirements, you must have a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and take the Miller Analogies Test or the Graduate Record Examination General Test.
