Health and Consumer Sciences Major

Exciting people-oriented careers await students in the Health and Consumer Sciences major. Majors in Health and Consumer Sciences who successfully complete college and departmental requirements earn a Bachelor of Science degree. The Teacher preparation concentration is designed to meet the State licensure requirements for the initial health/family and consumer sciences license for teachers. The Consumer and Community Services concentration prepares students for careers in consumer affairs, human services and/or business communications depending upon the minor selected by the student.
