October 2-3, 2026 - One Weekend. One Ram Community.
Mark your calendar for Framingham State University's Homecoming & Family Weekend, the one event each year that brings together current students, families, alumni, and friends to celebrate everything that makes FSU special.
Whether you're cheering on the Rams, reconnecting with classmates, making memories with your student, or experiencing campus traditions together, there's something for everyone.
Join us for a weekend packed with exciting activities and athletic events designed for everyone to enjoy.
- Athletic Events: Wear your school colors and show your support for the Rams! Football, Men's and Women's Soccer will all be in action. (Please note Football has an entry fee for those without an FSU ID: Adults $5.00; Children $3.00; Senior Citizens $1.00 - Cash Only)
- Family Activities: Enjoy a variety of events and receptions for current students and members of their families. This includes special reception for First-Generation, Veterans and Honors Program family members, classroom experiences, planetarium experiences, and a performance from FSU's improv group Suit Jacket Posse.
- Alumni Events: Reconnect with old friends and make new memories. There will be an alumni softball game, football alumni reception, Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony, BIPOC brunch, legacy families reception and more!
- Entertainment: Open to the entire FSU community, entertainment will include live music, food vendors, shuttles to Framingham Fest on the Framingham Centre Green, and much more. And, of course, there will be the annual Moonlight Breakfast, a Homecoming Tradition at FSU!

Men’s soccer kicks off the athletic activities during homecoming weekend when they host RIC in a non-conference clash on Friday night under the lights at Maple Field.

Join us for the Ram Family Reception during Homecoming and Family Weekend! This special gathering brings together students, families, alumni, and campus leaders to celebrate the vibrant Framingham State community. Enjoy light refreshments, connect with other Ram families, and hear from university leadership about what makes FSU so special. All are welcome—come share in the spirit of Ram pride!

Suit Jacket Posse Improv Show

Laugh along with the Suit Jacket Posse as they deliver an interactive improv comedy show full of unexpected moments and crowd-inspired entertainment.
Moonlight Breakfast
Dining Commons, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Make your Moonlight Breakfast experience even more meaningful by connecting with fellow Rams who share your experiences, interests, and traditions. Throughout the evening, special affinity meetups will bring together alumni, students, families, faculty, and staff to celebrate the communities that make Framingham State so special. Whether you're reconnecting with old friends or meeting new ones, there's a place for you. Look for affinity meetup signage during the Moonlight Breakfast and stop by to make new connections, reconnect with familiar faces, and celebrate what makes you a Ram!

Honors Program Family Reception
Honors Program House, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Family members of students in the Honors Program! Join us at the Honors House for a special Honors Program Reception during Homecoming and Family Weekend! Meet the coordinators of the Honors Program, tour the Honors House, and connect with other families whose students are part of this vibrant academic community. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the program’s offerings, ask questions, and celebrate your student’s achievements in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Softball Alumni Game
Maple Softball Field, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Former players can participate in this fun exhibition.
Career Development Panel
McCarthy Center Alumni Room, 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
Connect with alumni, Career Development staff, and a Family Advisory Council member for a conversation on career preparation, professional growth, and the important role families can play in supporting students' post-graduation success.

Trolley Loop: Salem End, McCarthy, Maple and Bowditch Fields, Danforth
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The best way to get around to the various activities on Saturday is taking our free trolley between the various parking lots, Framingham Centre Green and athletic fields.
Women's Soccer vs. UMaine Fort-Kent
Maple Field, 11 a.m.
Women’s soccer squares off with UMaine-Fort Kent on Saturday morning. The non-conference game will begin at Maple field at 11 am.
Framingham Fest
Framingham Centre Common, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A large festival put on by the City of Framingham at the Centre Green across Route 9 from the FSU campus. Framingham State will have a presence at the festival, which is located right outside the University's Danforth Art Museum and School.
Football vs. Fitchburg State University
Bowditch Field, Noon
Join us over at Bowditch Field where the your defending MASCAC Champion Rams will be in action hosting conference rival Fitchburg State at noon.
