Students are employed within ITS as Student Help Center Assistants.

Student Help Center Assistants provide support to the following technology areas:

General PC lab, Academic labs, Residence Hall labs, CASA labs, public terminals in the Library, technology enhanced classrooms and Residence Hall labs.

Student Assistants working at the Faculty/Staff Helpdesk may upgrade, repair and/or rebuild campus PC computers and various pieces of software.

Laptop Repair Center Assistants support and/or troubleshoot university owned laptops and student owned laptops.

All students will help to disseminate information regarding use and misuse of equipment and software.
