Information Technology Services > Resources > Campus Network

For Framingham State College resident’s there are many different technology features available. Students will have access to both the wireless and hard wired Internet connections available within the residence halls. Wireless connections will provide students with greater mobility within their rooms, while the hard wired connections will provide greater reliability.

Resident students will find wireless network connections in other locations on campus besides their dorm rooms and classrooms, such as but not limited to:

  • College Center
  • Juice Bar in the Athletic Center
  • Library
  • Patio outside the Arthur M. Doyle Technology Center

Resident students will also find one of the wireless printing system printers located within their residence hall building. These printers are generally located in the building lobby. Students will be able to wirelessly send print jobs from their laptop computers to these printers, which will store them for up to 24 hours. Students will be able to release and pickup their jobs within this time frame whenever they are able.
