Framingham State University has partnered with E-Academy to be our software vendor to students. Through the E-Academy purchasing portal students will have access to a wide array of software products at extremely discounted rates. In order to take advantage of these offers students will need to have an active student email account and to register an account with E-Academy. This process will require students to confirm registration by logging into their student email, so student’s accounts will need to be setup and active to participate. Listed below are some of the more popular applications available to students. For a full catalog of products please login to the E-Academy site.
Microsoft Products – Many Microsoft products are available to students at discounted rates, including Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise, or Microsoft Office 2007. These applications can also be purchased for Macintosh systems, should students require them.
Adobe Products – Framingham State University and Adobe have negotiated an agreement to see Adobe software to students at up to a 70% discount. Some products include Adobe Master Collection CS5, Web Design Premium, and Acrobat 9 Professional.
SPSS – For students in courses that require the use of SPSS statistical software, the university has arranged for students to be able to lease this program through our E-academy portal for a period of either 6 months or 1 year.
Students, who have purchased the college recommended Dell laptop, will already have Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise and Office 2007 Enterprise pre-installed.
**By installing the software students are agreeing to un-install these programs should they leave Framingham State University prior to graduation.
