The Student Help Center is located in Hemenway Hall G17/G20 along with the general use computer lab. Staff located there are available to assist students with using all of the technology in the lab, including the networked printers and general purpose productivity software including the Microsoft Office suite of applications, SPSS, Minitab and Adobe Creative Suite. Please note that employees are very cautious to not do a student's assignment for them.
After students arrive on campus, the Student Help Center is the first place for them to turn to for onsite assistance with resolving problems with personally owned computers including the removal of spyware or viruses, connecting to the network, sending output to networked printers and troubleshooting software for supported applications. Please note that employees cannot install hardware, software and/or operating systems on personally owned computers.
The Student Help Center is staffed as follows:

The Student Help Center will be closed on National and State holidays. Staff members will not be available at these times.
Several staff members from Student Help Center also participate in each of the accepted students day and all other new student orientations by preparing and distributing information to parents and students about the University's technology environment. This includes being available to answer any questions about the University's laptop program.
