News and Announcements
Dr. Benjamin Atchison and Dr. Nicholas Sedlock, Assistant Professors in the Mathematics Department, are organizing a student field trip to the Joint Mathematics Meeting of the American Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Association of America on January 5th. The JMM is the largest annual national mathematics meeting in the world and the 2012 meeting is being held in Boston. Drs. Atchison and Sedlock have planned a day of attending talks of interest to students, visiting a poster session given by students, and exploring new books and technology in the exhibit area.
