Master of Education in Spanish

Coordinator:    Dr. Marguerite Mahler

Advisor:            Dr. Michael Wong-Russell

The degree of Master of Education in Spanish is designed for students who are interested in furthering their knowledge in Peninsular and Latin American literature, culture and history at the graduate level. While some students enroll without regard to being employed as teachers, this part-time program also addresses the needs of those who wish to meet state or district requirements for advanced study by teachers. The program presumes preparation in Spanish at the undergraduate level.

Now in its sixth year at Framingham State College with more than 30 students enrolled, this part-time program leads to the M.Ed. in Spanish after students complete ten courses.
